Classes meet 5:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. Monday through Friday.

Yes, this campus works exclusively with the Workforce Improvement Opportunity Act (WIOA) grant funds to offer Illinois students who qualify the benefit of not having to pay for their training program. Once accepted, students will be assigned a caseworker that will award funding of the entire program with additional supplies like scrubs, nursing shoes, blood pressure cuff, etcetera. Employment is not guaranteed, however, we partner with local hospitals, labs, and other healthcare facilities to help you get interviews and career leads. Our instructors also work with students on professionalism, interview tactics, and resume assistance.  

Yes! As a part of this program, students will sit for 5 national certifications! Once a student successfully completes the program and passes their national exams they are certified as an Administrative Medical Assistant, Clinical Medical Assistant, and an Electronic Health Records Specialist with the National Health Career Association (NHA). Additionally, students are trained and certified through the American Red Cross in Basic Life Support CPR for the Healthcare Provider and Blood Born Pathogens Training.
